Went to my first appointment 10/13/25 and it was omg by far the BEST drs office I'd ever been to. The staff was so sweet, helpful, and VERY punctual. My appointment was for 10:30 I was out and done before 11:00. They were very thorough and very informative. 1000/10 recommend them to anyone looking for a Cardiologist.

As always, the medical staff, and the secretarial staff are outstanding... sometimes the waiting area is very crowded and on occasion there are no seats available, but other times the seating arrangement is ok.

My visit yesterday, 7-30-2025 was actually with NP Charlie Shelton and it was excellent Dr. Mikdadi has been our much appreciated highly valued family cardiologist for many years. It’s comforting to know his NP is also available and exceptional on her own. It’s a win-win practice.

They got me in pretty fast. I just love Charlie very personable. I see a lot of times when I go over there and I really like her. She’s very good at what she does.

Great Doctor!

I’ve been to Dr. Mikdadi’s office a number of times but have only seen him once the rest of the time a different nurse practitioner and never the same one twice in a row. My prescription is about to run out and as far as I know of it isn’t being renewed but nothing was mentioned about it so I don’t know what’s happening with it!

First time to visit a cardiology office. Only met Dr. Mikdadi briefly when he walked in with Charlie, his nurse practitioner, to meet me. He had already conferred with her about my case and after about 2 whole minutes, he departed and Charlie took over my visit. She was very nice and understanding and answered the questions I had.

I went to the Heart Clinic with what was apparently a serious problem. Charlie, the PA, diagnosed my problem while we were discussing things and told me what I needed to change to fix it. On my return visit today. Six months later the problem is completely gone, thanks to Charlie.

He told me what I wanted to hear about testing location and times. Staff is very personable with the left hand knowing what the right hand is doing. I’ll reserve and further observation until I have a second visit with him.

I had a nuclear stress test with Frank and Laura. Both were very professional and their explanation of the procedures was easily understandable. Both were caring, but Frank was especially concerned about how I felt during the ‘stress’ part if the test.

My first appointment went completely smoothly. I have two more appointments scheduled. I hope they go smoothly.

My wife went with me a while back and I mentioned that she just found out that Dr. Allen found that her carotid artery was 89% blocked and she was to go get a stint put in. Dr. Mikdadi told the nurse to come in, check her and set up for surgery to remove the blockage. She did and feels great and the scar is hardly noticeable now. It runs in her family and brother had 3 strokes last year with his carotid was 100% blocked and he was riding bike up to 100 miles on weekends and eating healthy, etc. No other doctor had ever mentioned that or found it in B.R. area.

After being referred to Dr Mikdadi, my initial visit to his office went extremely well. The staff was very punctual and efficient. I was seen on time, filled out a small amount of paperwork, had an in office EKG performed, a few other test run, and then a short pleasant personal conversation with Dr Mikdadi and his Physician Assistant to discuss the plan going forward. Everything was scheduled and explained in detail before I left their office.

The doctors and staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. They take the time to explain pre-surgical procedures and post-surgical procedures. My experience with the Heart Clinic of Hammond has been excellent.

It was packed in the waiting room but it didn’t take long to clear up. The ladies were fast and the nurse was quick to make my next appointment after she checked my heart rate and scheduled me for a series of tests and neuro stress test for the following week. My dr never came but he saved my life back in 2019 . I can’t say Thank You enough to Dr Mikdadi for putting in a stent when he discovered that I had the widow maker….. I thank God for my friend and doctor!

Experience was amazing i wasn't even finish paperwork and was being called back for my visit . Staff was very friendly and welcoming . DrMikdadi was able to get all my testing and results back in one day so i didn't have to miss work again tomorrow. Everyone was very knowledgeable and explained each step very through. It was truly amazing greetings from all the staff. The nurse practitioner was such a great help in giving me my results on all of my test results. Also the Dr ordered all my test was completed in the office. I didn't have to go to another place to get my test. Beautiful atmosphere.
